Romantic, maximalist interior design by Tamerlane's Daughters using museum-quality antique textiles

INTERIORS

In recent years, Karina’s romantic maximalism has seamlessly translated into interiors. She creates atmospheric spaces that nourish and entertain the eye – and that privilege deep comfort.

An emphasis on antique textiles distinguish and elevate her interiors. In the hands of the ‘textile whisperer,’ as Karina is affectionately known by her clients, they have the power to transform a space without extensive structural work, even often without repainting.

Karina draws on her expertise as a collector to globally source the most exquisite fabrics. These are incorporated as wall art, upholstery, floor covers, lampshades, and cushions.

The designer’s own home in Morocco, a 17th-century riad, has been featured in Architectural Digest and Christie’s Magazine. She consults on both domestic and commercial projects.
